New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks worked alongside the Troop K Computer Crimes Unit to develop evidence of possible child pornography by Elias M. Econopouly, 19, of Milan.
Honorable Judge McLoughlin of the Dutchess County Court issued a search warrant that, when executed, resulted in the discovery that Econopouly was in possession of multiple sexual performances by children.
Econopouly was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of a sexual performance of a child, a Class E felony. He was arraigned before the town of Milan Court and remanded to the supervision of Dutchess County Probation.
Econopouly is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, June 6.
